All About Bethania Mendre
Bethania Mendre began her career in the insurance industry as a receptionist at State Farm Joe Raley's office. Eager to make a difference, she got licensed in life and health insurance and joined Bankers Life. Realizing she couldn't help everyone she met, Bethania decided to go independent and founded Mendre Insurance Group in 2019.
Since then, Bethania has dedicated herself to simplifying Medicare for hundreds of beneficiaries, providing ongoing support and guidance. She also created a Facebook Group, '65 & Thriving,' to assist those turning 65 or new to Medicare.
The idea for Medicare Blocks was born from Bethania's understanding that insurance is often perceived as intangible—a promise rather than a product. Medicare Blocks stands out as the only tactile educational tool in the Medicare space, making the process more engaging, visually appealing, and easier to understand.
Bethania's passion for educating people about Medicare is driven by her clients. She saw the need for them to fully grasp their coverage. A significant moment in her career was when she declined an offer to run an insurance agency for a top carrier, choosing instead to stay and support her clients. One client, Amanda, was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after Bethania helped her choose a Medicare plan. Thanks to their choice, Amanda received immediate treatment without worrying about medical bills, even while out of state. This experience fuels Bethania's commitment to helping others navigate Medicare with confidence.
